In the morning after your breakfast, drive to the lake you will have a fantastic view of the country of land of
thousands of hills, after checking have your Boat cruise to visit different islands in the lake Kivu. After lunch
visit the environmental museum, later go to your hotel enjoy the shore of lake Kivu. Overnight Hotel.

Discover the historical of the Congo Nile Trail enroute to Rubavu. You will explore the beauty and unique sites
of the trail of which include experiencing Coffee and Tea Tours, local live hoods, Fishing with local fishermen

After your breakfast you will go for boat cruise to Kinunu for a coffee from crop to cup. Along the way you will
enjoy beautiful water birds, magnificent views on Congo Nile Divide, stunning scenery and landscapes, fishing
activities and the extraction of methane Gaz in lake Kivu. At your arrival in Kinunu guest house you will have
lunch after lunch you will start your authentic coffee tour experiences nursery, fertilizing, pruning, harvesting,
washing, sorting, drying, preparation and testing around the guest house. Overnight Hotel

This morning drive to Musanze by arriving meet with respective park rangers who takes you to the Buhanga
Eco Park, this has been a sacred forest where Rwandese Kings performed initiation ceremonies, today it is a
testimonial to past societies that conducted such ritual. There is an opportunity here to go on a trail with a

simple and small walk through the park and see where these rituals took place. When you reach one of the
ritual sites in the park, you are confronted with a small ditch that is surrounded by flowery thicket and small
Lava stones. This is where the Kings assistants, the Abiru, pick some herbs and add to spring water to make a
ritual bath for the Kings Coronation. Overnight Hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Musanze the home of mountain Gorilla’s lunch with an afternoon guided community
authentic drive from your Lodge to visit different homes and experience the everyday lives of the local
people. Take part in daily life activities to get to know the local people, their culture, and their ways of living
since the village is fascinating with a variety of cultural experience. Enjoy different types of traditional dances
like Intore dance and famous songs of the local people and/or listening to the melody produced by traditional
musical instruments including African drums. Having a story to tell on Rwanda’s local food could be another
optional service you can’t skip at all or just have a local lunch or dinner with local people to see the skill they

Depart from the lodge at 7:30 am and drive to the village with huge plantations of banana where the tourists
learn how we grow bananas, their species, ripening process, demonstration of making beer, visiting different
families for further demonstration, historical background of homemade beer in Rwanda, a visit to a local pub
where local homemade beers are being served and enjoy the interaction with people who are involved in the
tour package. This activity takes about 3 hours. 2:00PM after lunch and drive about 1 hour to Burera and
Ruhondo Lakes to enjoy a fantastic view of lakes, boat cruise and outstanding view of the 5 volcanoes.

Depart from your lodge with your safari guide pay a visit to villages near the volcanoes national park or
elsewhere taking photos freely, homes tour (visiting people from their homes), local food preparation (from
lighting a fire until food is completely prepared), traditional music instruments: Ziter playing (Inanga), music
bow (Umuduri), Lamellophone (Ikembe), one stringed-fiddle, weaving experience, traditional dance and intore,
grinding sorghum and wheat using a grinding stone. It is an amazing and very adventurous experience, as you
will see how the Rwandans live in their villages and homes. The short walk on foot takes roughly 2 hours and
the longer one takes around 3 hours or more depending on guests’ preference or your physical fitness.

On this day, after your breakfast you will walk in Musanze City, Musanze Market, relax with a transfer back to
Kigali. Overnight Hotel.

After breakfast, we will embark to Akagera National Park arriving there you will relax at the Hotel enjoying the
property amenities with Night Game Drive. Overnight Hotel.

Early in the morning after breakfast we will go for game drive and in the afternoon have a sunset boat ride on
lake Ihema that will reward you with the views of a large number of Hippos, Huge Nile Crocodile and variety of
Bird Spices. Akagera is also known as one of the most scenic savannahs in East Africa. Overnight Hotel.

On this special day, early morning after your breakfast heads for a search of big 5 plus the 12 species
including the biggest antelopes such as the eland cape and roan antelope, the Topi, and some of 525 bird’s
species including 4 Albertine rift endemics, reptiles, plants, magnificent landscapes, Historical sites, a place
with the highest concentration of birds per square kilometer in any national park of Africa and hundreds of

After morning breakfast, leisure and embark on a transfer to Kigali Overnight Hotel

This day is dedicated to an excursion to the Nyamata and Ntarama Genocide Memorial, you will then start
your journey to the reconciliation Village in Bugesera where you will get Testimony from locals where
Genocide Survivors live with Perpetrators in the same village sharing day to day life. You will be transferred
back to the airport for your outbound transfer back home.
